poison prevention community outreach project

March is National Poison Prevention Month! NJSHP members visited Livingston Daycare (Rutgers Campus) to educate elementary-aged children on the dangers of everyday poisons, such as household cleaning products, medications, and plants. We engaged the audience through an interactive presentation, illustrative materials, and fun activities. Our goal was to teach children about what a poison is, different types of poisons, and what to do should they come into contact with a poison.
