Involvement fair

September 12th, 2018

Prospective members learned what NJSHP is all about and what we can offer for them! There are so many leadership opportunities for those who want to get involved within the pharmacy community.

Residency information session and showcase

September 28th, 2018

This was an information session for students interested in postgraduate residency or fellowship training. The information session was held right before the Residency and Fellowship showcase. Although this event is geared towards fourth-year student pharmacists in preparation for this year's Midyear Meeting, all years were welcome to come.

NJSHP clinical skills competition

October 3rd, 2018

The Clinical Skills Competition was an interactive, team-based analysis of clinical scenarios for health-system pharmacists in collaborative patient care practice. Teams of two used resources, such as Lexicomp, to help them formulate a plan that was reviewed by clinical pharmacists. The winning team received FREE REGISTRATION to the Midyear Meeting to compete at the national level competition held in Anaheim, CA in December.

Mid-Year Fright Fest

October 25th, 2018

ACCP, DIA, NJSHP and SNPhA hosted Midyear Fright Night. Current fellows and residents talked about their Midyear horror stories, as well as what they've learned through their experiences. It was a very informative event for those interested in going for a residency or a fellowship.

mygoal autism carnival

MyGOAL Autism along with APhA-ASP, NJSHP, SNPhA, and numerous other organizations set up booths with games and other activities for special needs children and their families! It was a great volunteering opportunity where students were able to greet families, color with kids, and make sure everyone had a great time!
